I am about to start working on my Antec NSK 4400 and I'm trying to decide how I want to do the fan in the front. Its definitely going to be a 120 mm intake, but I'm not set on the colors for the case. I just picked something that looks like what I have sitting around the house right now.

My question is, would the fan look better mounted to the front plastic fascia of the case with some nice fan screws, hex head bolts, or maybe if I'm feeling extra blingy, those Sunbeam LED fan screws. Or should I recess it back with a little bit of a duct and mount it on the interior metal frame of the case. The duct would be at the max about an inch deep and at the least, less than a 1/4 inch, depending on how I mounted the fan.

Would it look sloppy to have screw visible on the front panel? Or could it be done right and made to look good, what are your thoughts?

It depends. Are you going for the "show off what's in my case" look, or the clean, dignified/classy look?
 
I say... Panel mounted.

There's just something about fan screws through aluminum that I think is hot.
