From Analog to DVI

How do I switch my Samsung 205BW over from analog to dvi?

When I plug it in DVI, it recognizes it in boot from bios to windows loading, but after that is gone. How do I make it stay? Do I have to do it in Nvidia Properties?

Also, what is the benefit?

if it is displaying properly before getting to Windows then connection is ok. It is something up with the driver since it sounds like when the driver is loaded the display goes away. Have you tried hooking both VGA and DVI up (not sure if this will even work) and try changing some settings within Windows. When I got my LCD I just hooked it up to the DVI on my card and it worked. Does any kind of message come up on the display itself or does it just simply stop showing an image?
