I have a DLT 2000 hooked up to my Windows Server 2003 machine. I am happy with the Windows Backup, as I only need to copy files to tape. The problem is, I'd like to be able to erase tapes and prepare them for new usage. I don't see anything in the built in backup software that will do it.
I have a demo of Veritas BackUp Exec that I downloaded from their website, but I was hoping for something permanent.
Any ideas?
