Free alternative version to Ghost & Partition Magic?

I only need to use this once, but I dont wanna pay the money to buy both titles. Is there a trial or freeware alternative to these that will allow me to partition a drive then ghost it to another?
 
well, i saw ghost at outpost.com for like 10 bucks i think, then jsut use fdisk to partition, there ya go, only cost you $10
 
I need to partition an active hard drive not one with no info so Fdisk wont do it.
 
Ghost is certainly worthy of the cost, and it comes with a utility called gdisk that I couldn't live without.
 
g4u.. free unix-based utility.

It's included on the Ultimate Boot CD, something that everyone with a x86 computer needs.

Why pay for software when open source gets the job done just as well ?
 
Ill try that out, I am all for free open source since I dont like spending money.
