Hi!

I have put together a strange little cooling loop thats got me scratching my head. Started out with 2x Coolit Eliminators(6 TECs total), changed the peltiers for 130 watt units, changed to 200 cfm fans, and powerd by a 24v 600watt DC PSU. I am cooling a i7-920 @ 4k
200blk @ 1.375v

Best temps i'v seen is 15c, but at idle... but the resut i get in general make me not trust the temp sensors. My IR temp probs says the coolants at 12c even RealTemp or E-LEET says cpu at 50c under load, instantly. I'm using ceramique on all surfaces.

I just dont see any of the freezing temps people report now matter how i play around with it.

Freezing temps? Even if taken figuratively, the Coolit TEC line is far from ambient or below at full load. There was a guy who built a simlar TEC frankenstein setup a while back with 2 Boreas's (24 TEC) and that was still around mid 30's full load.

Yes and no, boreas units are still using the low wattage TECs without the voltage/amps of a regular Pelt setup... I am.

How hot is the cooling heatsink? TECs have a max delta of about 67C at Vmax. If you are running them at 12vs or so you're probably going to cook them pretty quickly. If they are wired in series you might be fine.
