I always hear people on here talking about what kind of frame rates they are getting and what kind of frame rates they gain after a graphics card upgrade. Well I just upgraded my graphics card so I was wondering how I would go about finding my frame rates while playing games. Thanks to those who reply.
 
some games have built in frame counters you can access with console commands

otherwise you could just use fraps www.fraps.com that shows the framerate in every game
 
cool thanks a lot. does this fraps program affect the performance of the computer while playing games at all?
