I've only just joined up on the forums, as i've actually only recently found an news item that i ABSOLUTLY needed to reply ;)

But anyways to the point :)

Just wanted to know when these forums where first put up? :)

I found Steve's or maybe Kyle's 38 year join date.. was the interwebs even around then?!

But yeh I know you can change dates in the cpanel, just was wondering when the forums where first established, or major milestones, ie. when did u first deiced to moderate signups etc..?
 
has to be Kyle's join date, after all it's his forum :p, or so he says ;) :D
 
The website was started in 1997 if I am not mistaken. As a result the forum would have had to have been added sometime after that. I do not know if it was originally part of the site or not. I didn't join the forum until 02-09-2002, but I've been a reader and a lurker on the forums for longer than that. I recall it going back as far as 1999 at least.
