What's the verdict on this company? Good? Bad? I just bought one of their 530w PSUs and I'd like to know what I'm getting myself into. Thanks :)

Hmm , Fortron is definately on my short list of PSU's to buy. Those 18A 12v rails scare me a little, though. I keep hearing that they Fortron really under-rates their power, but I'm still leery of it. According the Takaman calculator, I would be right up against their advertised limit. Anyone tell me just how much their 12v rails can REALLY handle?

Well I have

two hard drives, two optical drives(both burners), fan controller, tornado, 4 case fans all on the 12V lines and I can max it all out(as in everything is running same time) without a prob.

I dunno if that helps any but just in case.

And I think you'll be alright 'cause if understand the dual lines thing each 12V line carries 18amps which is plenty when its split up between parts like mine. 18 amps doesn't run it all, 36amps runs it all, but each line can carry 18a, I think.
