Formating a notebook?

I would like to format new notebook, but will winXP install the drivers for my sound card, and wireless controller? Or will I have to find the drivers on the internet, or on Gateways website, since this is a gateway notebook....

It never hurts to download them and burn them to a CD or copy them to a thumb drive. You could have very easily just checked Gateway's site for the answer as well. I go out and download them right before I format anyway, to make sure I get the latest ones.

Sound, dont think so. I think it will do the wireless controller though. What sound do you have in it?
