Force Web Client to use IPv4?

After watching with process monitor on my management workstation, I just discovered that the Web Client seems to be using ipv6 to talk with my vCenter 5.5 server.

[IPv6 Addr]:515518 -> vctr1.company.com:https
[IPv6 Addr]:515520 -> vctr1.company.com:10443

My own fault I guess since I never properly disabled IPv6 on the PC or vCenter (just unchecked the box).

Is there a way I can force the Web Client to speak IPv4? I noticed the "vCenter Server Managed Address" setting in vCenter. I just haven't found anything that indicates if putting an IPv4 value in there will be enough to force the Web Client's hand on the management workstations.
