Hello all,

I was looking at Thermaltake Toughpower 1200 watt power supply for my next build. I run a dual system now but probably will return to a single cpu, quad core Intel system with sli ( future 3 nvidia graphics sli when that time comes and when needed). Questions are , is this a good unit? and is there anything else out there yet or coming soon? I am now having random startups since I installed the 8800gtx so I am in need of more juice. SO I wantto get this power supply before these restarts drive me nuts...

Even though it's always nice to be ready for the future, it's not necessary most of the time. First of all, by the time you actually "need" a 1200w psu - the price on them will be down by folds. In my opinion it's better off saving a bit of cash and getting something that's sufficient for your setup.

There are always others out there and that are coming soon. Don't stress "too" much about it. Just get something that's out now, and something that satisfies the requirements now...
