Not sure if he even reads the [H] forums anymore, but he is a GREAT source of information for Intel goodness.
Anyway, if he's reading this, could you provide some (what you can) insight about the buzz that is Conroe/Memron?
 
I dunno, check out anandtech and stuff. it's runnig 40% better than an X-2 4800+, the conroe at 2.66ghz and hte X-2 at 2.8ghz, the Conroe on a modified 975 board while the X-2 was on an optimized board. it sounds cheaper too, and is adding a 4mb cache line. The Conroe is also featuring 12-16 pipelines. X-2 is 17 pipeline.
