HI guys I have 580 in my case now,My question is would it help to put a 480 in my case in SLI and would it help in the folding?

You can't SLI a 480 and a 580. However, you could fold on both of them at the same time in the same system if you want to. Folding on both would produce nice PPD, but both cards together would put out a decent amount of heat.

Yeh thats what I was thinking I have a Lian LI PC-A70 case So I have lots of room.I was just concerned about doing any damage since these cards are not the same generation.

No issues there. Just be aware of the heat and the power draw.

Fold on!

Also note that FAH takes no interest in SLI. It will work either way, but currently always utilizes GPUs separately regardless of SLI.
