I'm wondering if you guys think these are good specs for a dedicated folding box. They seem just fine to me, but if you have any input it would be appreciated. Especially if you know where I can get good deals on any of this stuff.
Box 1 Intel
Intel Raedon Express mobo w/ integrated graphics and one x16 slot
Pentium D 805
Corsair Value 512MB DDR2 533
Sapphire X1600PRO
WD 80GB SE PATA
Sony CD-ROM
Athena Power 450W Micro ATX
InWin Micro ATX desktop case
$378, $474 with GPU
Box 2 AMD
ASUS M2NPV-VM GeForce 6150 w/ integrated graphics and one x16 slot
Athlon X2 3800+
1GB Mushkin DDR2 667
Sapphire X1600PRO
WD 80GB SE PATA
Sony CD-ROM
Athena Power 450W Micro ATX
InWin Micro ATX desktop case
$495, $592 with GPU
They're not exactly apples to apples, I wanted to build the AMD version slightly more powerful. The thing that really worries me is the off brand PSU. I'm having trouble finding a name brand micro ATX case. I'd really rather avoid running them naked, but I'll consider it. I can't find a Conroe compatible mATX motherboard with integrated graphics. I really don't want to lay down the $100 or more for a GPU untill the GPU client comes out.
Thanks,
Nater
