Flushing a system for MCT-5

When switching to MCT-5, what should I flush the loop with? Distilled water would seem like the best, but it would require a good amount to flush the system well. Would tap water suffice?
 
no tap watter is conductive and traces it would leave could negate the purpose of the MCT-5

id suggest distilled water
 
True, but would there be any other problems with using tap water?

I think I'll use tap water to thoroughly flush the system. Then use distilled for a final flush.

I see no reason that wouldnt work
 
That does sound alright, but distilled is what, 2 bux or so for a gallon? IMUHO, its not worth the risk of conductive MCT-5.

qft, distilled is cheap. i dont see how you'd need more then 2 gallons of it.....
