I wouldn't worry too much for FLECOM. I'm sure he will increase in the future. Ups and downs happen to everyone. BTW, who is the world's #1 folder in total production, anyone know off hand?

Thanks. PS3 and Anonymous aren't actual single folders and I'm skeptical about eastms.edu, unless someone can verify it. If so, that's a massive production. :eek:
 
I think I heard a reason for this somewhere a few days back. Something about the borgs at whatever school he's borging are down for the holidays. That's assuming I'm recalling properly...

i would guess....i just seem to remember seeing that in some thread around here a couple of weeks ago (right around winter break start for colleges)

 
I believe its a whole school district or something like that, and yeah.... Holidays.
 
I guess they had to shutdown all the computers for the holidays since I remeber him discussing with the directors about power saving and the need of running 24/7.

 
Ouch. I can only imagine the work involved in trying to maintain F@H on 500 machines. Thank you FLECOM for the hours you have spent for the cause!

The contributions that FLECOM has made to date are mammoth. To put it into perspective, with FLECOM at 45+M points, and me at 3M and my current PPD of ~ 5000 PPD, it would take me 25 years to catch [H]im if FLECOM didn't turn in another WU.

My hat goes off to all folders who manage to bundle together a massive farm. And, of course we hope that FLECOM continues to produce work for the science and the team. FLECOM's current production of 9k PPD is still in the top 20 for our team.

In the spirit of the folding community, distributed computing and the [H]orde, maybe we need to work a little [H]arder at recruiting more members. Adding another 1100 active folders, averaging just ~850 PPD, would double our team production. :)

argh, i know flecom's feelings, i had a lab of 20 borgs freeze up on me just about xmas day. Was annoying enough to deal with, but i cant imagine having to deal with what he has on his plate.
