FLAC -> Apple Lossless?

Thinking of buying an IPod, I have about 70-80GB worth of FLAC files. 2 questions :

1)Is there an easy way to convert them to the Apple Lossless format to play on the IPod? dbPoweramp maybe?

2)Is there any loss of quality in doing this?

NOTE : I wanted the Rio Karma, but it isn't available here, and the Creative Zen players don't support lossless (do they?)

It's 6:45 AM here so.............
COWON's iAUDIO M3 and iAUDIO X5 and the iRiver iHP-120,iHP-140 (via the Rockbox firmware replacement) support FLAC.
There is also a Linux port for the Ipods that adds FLAC support as well but

Hmm...iRiver.. gotta look them up here. Grey market, probably, but what the heck..

Why the "but"? Linux port? Sounds interesting..

But still.. is there software to convert flacs to Apple Lossless as well?
 
You could convert all the FLAC to WAVE, then import under iTunes with Apple Lossless set as the codec, though you will loose any tags going to WAV, assuming FLAC uses tags (I have never dealt with FLAC). Probably not the best (convient) method though.

Yep, FLACs have tags. Will take time though.. I'm just hunting for the converter in FB2K
