Fixable Solution or RMA?

Well I got home and saw this happen on my screen. So is there any way to fix it or just flat our RMA it? Its a Sapphire X1950Pro 512MB AGP. Has been working flawlessly for about a month and half until now. Power isn't an issue, running an OCZ GamerXstream 700W.

oh dear god. first things first

reboot, see how things look back into windows. try reinstalling drivers etc, all the basics pretty much *if it allows*. if thats a no go then id try RMAing

are you overclocking at all?
 
Well I put in my old graphics card, so its not the monitor, not driver issues because my AIW 9600XT went in just fine. No overclocking either, so that isn't the issue. So the main issue here is the graphics card.
 
yah it wouldn't be a driver issue at the time of that screen shot due to the fact that no drivers are loaded yet.

Well that sux. Is it only on startup or also in Windows?
 
that looks like the pretty typical "video card shat a brick" screen. That's very similar to how my x850xt looked when it bought the farm a few months ago.
 
me thinks ure video memory is shot, i had the exact same thing happen and traced it to the video ram , RMA while u can
 
actually it could be a number of things. same thing happened to me with my older system but when i switched over to a new system and i was using my old card(9800pro) the problem was non existent.
 
I had the same problem and ATI said that they have been having some issues with the bridge chips for the AGP versions. I RMA'ed it and picked up a VisionTek Radeon and did not have the problem.
