So I've got a bfgtech 850w psu that I was using on my old system. Last time I turned it on there was this sound of somethin shorting out. So I immediately shut the computer off and when iwent to start it again it would not turn on. Pulled the psu and cracked it open. No scorch or burn marks on anything but I did find a 5amp fuse that was blown. Was wondering if you guys think it would be a good idea to replace the fuse and see if it would work or is there a chance that it could damage the mobo?
I checked the fuse and bought replacements of the very same kind so there shouldn't be any issue of it passing on more amperage then what was originally intended, I just don't want to break anything more expensive in the process lol.
