I'm rather new to the water cooling side of building computers and from reading some other posts on [H], I came up with this list of components. I was wondering if you guys would help me on how to choose fitting sizes. I can't figure that part out, even after reading some threads about water cooling. I'm seeing measurements of ID and OD left and right with no idea of what they mean. Any suggestions/help would greatly be appreciated.

I'm using an Intel Q9550 CPU, and a ATI 5870 (XFX HD-587X-ZNFC) graphics card.

1)CPU Block - MPC-CPU - 775 Quad Core Block $43

5)Tubing - Masterkleer clear PVC tubing - $0.59/ft

ID = The inside diameter of the tubing
OD = Outside Diameter of the tubing

1/2 inch ID is the most common
5/8 to 3/4 OD are most Common
