I bought one of the 2500K sandy bridge and I have it on an Asus P8P67 mobo and I am using a coolermaster hyper 212. I used the AI suite II to auto tune it and it BSOD around 4.7GHz so I got it back up and went into the BIOS and lowered the multiplier to 44 which is getting me to almost 4.5GHz.

My questions are what temps should I be aiming for when idle and underload?

I haven't fully stressed it yet but this evening I was seeing around 20C idle and 30C when running EQ2 in raid conditions with my graphics cranked up and a few programs running in the background that I use when raiding.

I see in the BIOS where it has a limit you can adjust for the temp that is default at 60C I don't really want to chance damaging my new cpu or shortening the life so what is a good temp I want to aim for?
