First time OCer needs quiet CPU fan.

Hey guys, first time OCer here. I'm looking for a quiet CPU fan and I was browsing around Newegg for one. I have a Q6600 2.4 with G0 stepping. Will this fan be sufficient enough to OC it to 3.0?

Honestly, given that you properly install it along with correct application of a thermal compound - you wouldn't need much to OC to 3.0. The cpu does that fairly easily, usually even with stock voltages.

Like ace said, there are alot of cpu hsf reviews all around. And generally they all measure the noise level.
