Ok so i got an idea for my first case mod project.

I Would like to build a computer in to my Yamaha Portable Grand DGX-220

problem is i have no idea were to begin with modding the components or the keyboard lol.

Any help would be appreciated.

Anything's possible, I suppose. A couple questions come to mind:

- do you still want the keyboard to function after you've got the computer in there?
- if so, how are you going to get your hardware in?
- what do you plan on doing with the computer once it's in there? or is it a "because I can" project?

I'm kinda scratching my head thinking why you'd want to do this...

That would be a pretty cool little project, especially if you got the buttons to do stuff.
The main thing is patience and an open mind i guess.
I have no clue what the insides look like though.

yea its pretty much a because i can project lol.

I would like the keyboard to still fuction as a keyboard after the mod is complete however since i have never opend the keyboard the only thing that comes to mind at the moment is to place the computer parts in the speaker housing's, remove the speakers and add mono / stereo out ports to the keyboard.
The kind of computer i would like to mod would be a state of the art gaming machine that would be capable of complex physics simulations (not that i would use it for that lol just the gaming).
6 lots of quad i7 or something eaven better. I would also like to have 6 PNY Quadro FX 4500 X2 Graphics Card - 1GB - PCI Express x16 GPU's as im aiming for around 1 terror flop of processing power, that beeing said, aside from multi processor server boards and such, i have no idea were to get a mobo that will support this set up or if it eaven exsists. I do know that it is not beyond the relms of technological possibility but that beeing said also its not impossible to directly link mobo's on a hardware leveal, just extreamily difficult, time consuming and im practical lol. as for HDD space i was looking at 40Tb

Now i realise that the kind of modding im on about is profeshonal ausus mobo construction / intel i7 construction leveal, and i also realise i have to start with simpler mods and such might eaven have to learn a bit more about electronics. That is why i will be doing the first mod with my old MSI K9NSLI Platnium mobo 1 DDR2 DIMM, PCI AGP card, Second hand PSU and a 1 Gb IDE HDD so if anything goes boom its not gunna cost a huge ammount of money.
