My sister needs a new computer - and I have lots of stuff laying around - socket 775 CPU, RAM, HDD, Corsair HX520 modular PS, ATI 4670, XPsp3 - I have built several shuttle boxes in the past, and >30 other boxes.
BUT ... any reaction/advice to the following would be appreciated:
MOBO
GIGABYTE GA-EG45M-UD2H
... or ...
DFI LP JR P45-T2RS
I'm leaning towards the Gigabyte because the integrated graphics may be enough, and so eliminate videocard fan. (I have used DFI boards in the past, and am not intimidated by their BIOS.)

CASE:
LIAN LI PC-V351B

CPU COOLING:
I have a Thermalright AXP-140 & 120mmx25mm PWM fan here. If it does not fit, I'll find something else - suggestions?
If you have suggestions for a different PS (or anything), feel free to make them.

Anticipated use = email, browsing, office use, movie playback, light snapshot editing ... nothing very intensive.
The box will sit on a shelf near the monitor,
My sister lives 600 miles away, so reliability would be nice, since any "fixes/repairs" will have to be by "remote control" over the telephone.

I have GA-EG45M-UD2H and it is a board of wonderful feature. But of the intel integrated video is of poor quality for all other than windows desktop. If you need of smooth playback quality of video and blu-ray please install the replacement card in x16 slot but with v351 case check length of card to not more than 10.5 inches. Very low cost card of $50 be very better than intel.

V351 case and motherboard work great in case. Very good is the "phase LED" feature included on motherboard to shows processor load of CPU at green - yellow - red and align very close with grill in side of case makes attractive and shows when system is at hard working. :)

Q9550 is using with Ninja Mini and silent 92mm fan is close fit and good with no worry. Heatsink and fan for CPU must be small than 125mm to fit or more small to fit before sliding of the tray for motherboard. Very close fit of 120mm maybe need install after tray in case or interfere on back of PSU support a bit tricky.

Very much love this motherboard and case and satisfied is my thought with Win7 final if different video solution like 9800gt. Ask if question in your thinking and I can answer here.
 
If you want a 'cheaper' board, you could also check the EG41MF-US2H. Not too bad in terms of features, limited to PCIe 1.1 but graphics don't seem to be a priority for you and the 4670 sure as hell won't be bottlenecked by the bus...
 
The V-351 should have no issues w/ longer video cards. my GTX 280 fits in there without any problems.
 
Thank You for the responses. I am going to order the Gigabyte board and V-351. I'll see about CPU cooler when parts get here.
