Hey guys, I've been lurking on the hardforums for quiet some time. Been fun learning overclocking techniques and gaining knowledge in differen't computer parts. I was planning on getting an amd 939 build, but conroe came out same I've been working on this spec. Plan on doing some heavy overclocking, starting off on mostly stock.

-Case, wanted to try something new for a decent price.
XCLIO A380 Silver SECC 1.0mm thickness ATX Full Tower Computer Case

-Powersupply, antec wasn't my first choice, but seems decent.
Antec TRUEPOWERII TPII-550 ATX12V 550W Power Supply

-Motherboard, orginally was thinking DFI, but changed to gigabyte.
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 Socket T

-Processor, want to overclock : )
Intel Core 2 Duo E6400

-Memory, Orginally was thinking G.skill.
Corsair XMS 6400

-Videocard, I may just go with the x1600 for $112 untill the new dx10 cards come out.
Sapphire x1900xt

-soundcard, was thinking fatal1ty, but he's overrated ~_^.
Soundblaster X-Fi

Main harddrive raptor 74gb, 10000 rpm
secondary hardrive western digital 250gb 7200rpm
Nec dvd 16x
Windows xp pro, is 64bit worth it atm?

Any comments or crits? Again I plan on overclocking, and installing windows vista when it comes out.

Looking like a pretty solid build there. Personally I would stick with the x1600 and wait for DX10 cards because thats my plan.

Should be sweet. Keep us posted!!!

My 6400 is cooking at 3200Mhz stock cooling and 1.3Vcore:)

Awesome, Thanks. I just hope the overclocking doesn't cause my computer to fly away with those 250mm fans ~_^.

Are you getting the case cause of the fans or the looks?

Man that case is ug----- oh never mind. I have a very simlar rig with an E6600. I have GSkill but like the RAM you picked better.

Not the looks, thats for sure. I wanted to get the case for the new design, see how the air flow works. I also herd that they can run at very low rpm, with low noise level and still keep most things cool.

Most cases with En-Ex 120mm fans can do that just fine.

Well if thats the case (no pun intended) I would go for something more asthetically pleasing with a price tag like that. It probably won't even make a difference.

I have the Armour and it is a good case if you dont move it much. Thing weights a shitload. It is a simple case that does the job very well. great cooling ablity, and great for watercooling and not having to hack it to pieces.

Also the side door is one of the easiset to remove, other than you have to release two catches, so you have to use both hands.

I also removed the two flaps on the front that "protect" the drives. They were shitty, but easy to remove.

I herd the coolmasters are great for being such a low price...I really don't say "Hey. I want that" when I look at them. I won't be getting this rig for another two weeks it seems...so I have plenty of time to think about it, and research overclocking techniques :D

They are very sweet but can become crouded with a large mother board.

CAV T03 Silver

I use one like this down stairs in my Den.

I like this one in black as well.

They are very quite and keep my older Northwood pretty cool.
