First Build

I am tired of my old first generation sony vaio desktop and i think it is time i have my first build. I have pretty much decieded on what i am going to get, i just wanted some feedback. See what people think or if they have any advice. PLease crit. is welcome.

Mobo: Aopen I915Ga-e, an Aopen with the intel 915 chipset and the Intel Socket T(lga 775) with PCIe.

CPU:Intel Pentium4 540 HT 3.2 Ghz 800mhz fsb and 1mb L2 cache: Prescott core

Case: Rosewill ATXmidtower "R114A" black

Video Card: Chaintech nVidia 6600gt PCIe 16X, 128 DDR3, 128 bit

Memory: Kingston HyperX 184 Pin 1GB(512MBx2) DDR PC-3200

HD: 120 segate 7200 sata...... than later after i save somemore up get 2 80gig segates with raid 0 to use for my games and programs i need the preformance for.

and i am not worried about my sound card just yet, but open to suggestions my price range will prob be around 100-140 for the sound card.

i dont know much about intels but i will give it a go

rosewell doesnt make very good cases

if u are a gamer, get a 256mb version of the 6600gt

and as for RAM, dont intels use DDR2? or is that an older mobo?

Well I'd go Athlon 64 personally and switch the 6600 out for a 6800, prices gonna be dropping soon

i would like to the 6800, but price and if it does drop soon it better drop before the end of the year because i am going to get them after xmas.

Also its only ddr, boards with the ddr2 were to exspensive and i am not the heavy of a gamer so i dont need to worry that much about cooling and the ram, and really the video card, but i love nice stuff. there is alway time for upgrades.
