I have 40 boards to be assembled with total 148 parts in one side. Do you guys know any PCB assembler can send the first article for free for my approval before building the rest boards? We need to test them and make possible adjustment in few passive parts?

Hi,

I don't think so that anybody gives you one complete assembled board free of cost. But assembler can give you a assembled board with few component ( You can ask to assemble components having minimum pitch in you board. ) In that way you can insure the soldering quality and after that go forward.

I had experience with bittele electronics. I assembled 10 boards from them and I see their good assembly quality review on Nos of forum and check their online quote. My board contains total 110 component having 90 SMD, 2 BGA, 1 component with 0.5mm pitch and 17 through hole components and it just cost me $80. But I still worried about soldering because my components have cost more than $1000 then I talk to their support guys and ask for sample of assembly quality and send me a article for free. After assembly of my boards all works in first go.
Their soldering seems to be excellent. You can also talk to bittele guys and ask for free article they will ship it to you

it seems they are not expensive as much as other pcb assemblers.

Hello there!
I recently had to start working from home
but I'm doing what I would be doing at work and what I know,
which is PCB assembly and wiring.
I'm offering my services to anyone that would like it.
I have my own anti-static environment and work from my
own studio.
I can do :-
surface mount and through hole
conformal coating
and cable assembly
I also try to offer similar services
just ask or email for any info

Thanks
