I have a Dell box with 2GB of memory, 3.47GB CeleronD chip and is bootable from a USB drive .
My Question is .. is there a firewall distro out there that can run off of a thumb drive. I have an 80GB SATA drive in the box right now, but I was looking to use that drive elsewhere if possible.
I have a 4GB thumb drive that I'd use. I don't need to save any kind of log files and what not, so it should be big enough for a basic firewall (maybe with a web proxy too? ..or would that kill the drive with all the writes it would be making to the drive itself..?)
