Firefox Compatability

The company I work for has a really useful intranet that soon will be more useful with some users guides, document libraries, wikis and things of that nature. As of right now though it has been coded as if internet explorer is the only browser in the world. If the marketing department sends an email with a link to something in the intranet I have to copy and paste it into IE because Firefox makes me type my username and password every couple seconds if I try to use it.

Is there a way to make firefox work with this website being they are too busy to make the website work with firefox? Or should I just quit being lazy and copy and paste some.

Wow. Thanks. It even has a setting to make it automatically work with certain websites. I can keep my default browser without extra button clicks! Thanks again!
