Without physically looking on the PC (this is a corporate environment, and I don't know if someone is on so I can't just remote in) is there a reliable way to confirm if IE8 is installed?
If I go on the C$ share in the IE folder the iexplore.exe will have the new icon and the version will say 8. There's also more DLLs and there is an ie8props.propdesc file. Is this a reliable enought way to see that it is installed?
