Finding an IP On A Seperate Subnet

Hi,

My brother has a computer on our lan at home and he changes his IP address to something like 192.168.6.43 and if my IP address comes from the DHCP server at 192.168.1.101, how can I find his IP address if I don't know the subnet he is on?

My brother shares his films and stuff but won't let me watch them but if I could find his IP address over the lan I can watch his films without him knowing ^_^.

I just can't find him if he's not on the same 192.168.* subnet which is a pain because he usually changes it to some random number between 1 and 255...

You could use a port scanner and start scanning subnets.
