Ok, so after much indecision about WC/no WC and specific parts/etc.......Im ready to purchase. This will be my very first WC attempt, and it likely will start on the main rig in my sig.

Here is my final list. A few questions though.....

1. Am I missing anything?
a)Mounting kit for the FuZion or does that come with something allready?
b)If I decide to go with a backplate, I couldnt find one at jab-tech.
I have read that you an use a thermalright socket 775. Is that what I should use?
c)Clamps/etc? Or do all of the attachment pieces come with....something?
d)algicides/other additives?

2. How many feet of tubing do you think I will need to purchase? That stuff aint cheap LOL! Im cooling with a single loop, Q6600 and an 8800 GTX.

3. Any advantage to lapping the FuZion? Im likely going to bow it, and if so I assume lapping wont many any difference either way correct?

4. Any specific tools I will need? I am planning on putting this on a rig that is running in an Antec 900. Obviously the rad will need to be mounted outside, and since there is that huge 200mm fan on the top it will be on the backside. So....all I will need is a drill, some bits, and a few screws/bolts right?

5. Pump - I saw several websites that had different styles of the same MCP655 12v pump. Is the one I linked an 'appropriate' one?

6. TIMM - Always used AS5, but this is my first WC. I see alot of people using Ceramique or other products. Why? Should I NOT use AS5?

7. 1/2 barb on the FuZion and.....1/2 ID 3/4 OD tubing would be the best sizes for best flow correct?

Heres the order list:

CPU: Dtek FuZion 1/2 barb + accelerator nozzle
GPU: Swiftech Stealth
Rad: Thermochill PA120.3 + 120.3 Shroud
Pump: MCP655 12V
Rad: Swiftech MCRES-Micro
Tubing: Tygon R3603 - 1/2in ID, 3/4in OD X 15 feet

Any other advice/info would certainly be greatly appreciated.
 
For your list, it looks great but ditch the Stealth GPU waterblock (aluminium in it, which is a big no-no) and replace it with a EK FC8800 GTX waterblock, which is one of the best.

a-Fuzion come with the full mounting kit.
b-you can get a thermalright backplate at http://www.jab-tech.com/Thermalright-LGA775-Bolt-Thru-Kit-pr-3605.html
c-You will need to buy hose clamps. You can either use wormdrives or nylon hose clamps or you can even save money and use zipties (however, it's not the best method).
d- at least, get some PT Nuke (http://www.petrastechshop.com/pepcobi1.html) to avoid algae growth. For the rest, it's up to you but most will get some Pentosin (http://www.jab-tech.com/Pentosin-G11-Long-life-Coolant-Blue-pr-3707.html) to reduce corrosion, which shouldn't matter at all if you don't mix copper and aluminium.

2- Usually, 10 feets is more than enough for a full loop with some spare tubing for future maintenance.

3- Never lap the Fuzion waterblock since it come already bowed, which show better results by applying more pressure on the center.

4- No special tools, just your usual tools like you outlined there. Maybe a dremel if you want to do some case modding to fit the radiator :)

5- The MCP655 come in 2 versions, Basic and Vario. the Vario is the speed adjustable one which is the one to get. Basic doesn't come with any adjustement.Yours is the correct one since the basic name would be MCP655-B.

6- It doesn't matter that much, if you have AS5, use it. There is no special consideration with watercooling when it come to TIM.

7- Yes, 1/2" ID is the correct size to get so you're fine there.

You shouldn't NEED a PA120.3 for a single CPU/GPU...

An MCR320 would be fine, if you wanna save a bit of $$.
 
Well... Not really... But it might improve noise.

You could run your fans at a slower level on the PA120.3, and still get the same amount of cooling as the MCR320 with higher fans... Probably about 20% quieter.
 
Dont forget about fans, id recommed 6 low speed yates in a push/pull config for a quiet yet powerful cooling system. (yates should only be ordered from petras)
