File transfer problem

I had a tech at work copy my games & other files to another hard drive so she could format, and install Windows on my hard drive. Everything looked good, I can see the folders with my games on them. Only thing I can't access them to play( they need to be transfered from one place to another) I don't know how and where to transfer these file to get them to work. Please help me if you can.

You may have the files, but all your registry settings are gone. Reinstall the games off the original CD's, then copy your saved game folders over the new ones.

You can move data, but in general, you cannot move installed software. Reinstall and overwrite the install dir. with the saved copy. This will add the registry entries, but point to your data files.
