I have 6 computers on my LAN. When I'm playing an audio file on one pc and I start transferring something across my LAN to that pc, the audio playback starts sounding almost like it's breaking up. That pc is running an AMD XP 2000 cpu with 512 megs of ram and an M-Audio 2496 audio card. Also, all of my pc's are running gigabit NIC's and I have gigabit switch.
Anyone got any clues why that pc's audio playback would sound like that? I'm only running 2 programs on it...BSI's WaveStation and Cool Edit 2000.
Thanks!
