FCP 6 NEED HELP!!!

Thanks for looking at this... Okay so I am working at a company where i have to make instructional videos, but today, out of the blue, Final Cut Pro decided it doesn't want to record Audio anymore.. I turn on Voice Over and it works for about 6 seconds and then FCP just disappears and it asks me if I want to report ignore or relaunch... I have been using FCP for months with no issues and recorded for hours without at hitch.. Any Ideas why this might be?

Strangely enough I just found the answer.. it was a corrupted image file that I was using to record over
