A comp that I recently built for my friend is having some problems. He's been getting bsods in games, and constant missing file errors. He just tried formatting it and got another bsod during the windows format using a windows cd with slipstreamed sp2. The hd is a seagate 120 SATA II w/ncq and has only been running for about a week. He ran the seagate diagnostics test and got a "system memory error". Does this mean that he has a faulty hd? The rest of his specs :

AMD 64 3000+
MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum
Corsair Value Series Ram 1x512
Seagate 120G SATA II w/NCQ
MSI Geforce 6600GT
NEC 3520a
Fortron 350W Bluestorm
 
If its not a PSU problem I would be surprised. You do need a better PSU and it should fix your problem. Thats really low for specs like that. With the 6600GTs you need at least a 450 watt PSU.
