I'm looking to upgrade my current lcd (1280 rez, 25ms) to a 19 or 20" lcd. I would like to get something with a lower response time than I currently have (25ms) but I do not want to sacrifice having vivid colors for speed. Is it possible to get a 19 or 20" lcd with low response times and good color reproduction? I've heard great things about the 2001fp but I believe that the screen door effect would bother me.I've had 2 Samsung's in a row now and I've been very impressed by their quality but there doesn't seem to be anything that fits the specs I'm looking for (the 213T only has 25ms and the 193P (20ms) doesn't seem to be much of an improvement over what I have now). Perhaps one of the Viewsonics.... An lcd which also had component input's (for my xbox) would definitely be a plus! Thanks
 
I've been the same market as you are (except for needing xbox connection) and I wound up buying a Sceptre for >$500. I'm hoping this monitor will be adequate in both categories.

I'm actually starting to lean towards getting a samsung 193P. It would be my third samsung lcd in a row...
 
You can have fast or you can have great color, but as of now you can't have both.
