fan replacement for the ps2?

dont know if this is off topic or not, but the fan in my ps2 is getting really loud since i bought it so many years ago.

so i was wondering what size of fan it uses(looks smaller than an 80mm) and if you have a suggestion for something quite and maybe something with a led?

Get a voltmeter (or multimeter) and measure the voltage across the fan when the PS2 is on. If it's anywhere 5-12V, you're in business. Then get a ruler and measure the size of the fan. It shouldn't be too difficult to replace--perhaps a little soldering, but nothing life-threatening.

It's either a 40 or 60 mm fan....looks more like 60mm...

yeah em to my fans really old and dusty, i got my ps2 the day it came out due to preorder, its sooooo dusty inside now!
