I'd like to put in a couple switches to turn my case fans on and off. The case already has a dial (pot) to decrease the speed, I'd like the option to turn them off. Graphics card and PSU are already fanless, because I'm trying to have very little noise for audio listening purposes.

Question is: will it mess anything up? I.e., while the computer is running, is it going to cause any problems to just drop power or put power back on the case fans? These are 2x 120mm case fans.
