does anyone know how to take a case fan apart, say for the blades?

i know it might vary from fan to fan

I have an 80mm vantec stealth if that helps
 
You can pop off the hub with the fan blades on it with no disasembly. The fan may/may not work again if you put the hub back on afterward.
