Hi all.

I'm planning out a new system for the fall, and I'm trying to think of different cooling options etc. I'm wondering what some of your favourite fan controllers are, and why?

I have the vantec nexus fan controller in silver w/blue LEDs, and it works great. Before, my fans were so damn loud that I was always pissed about it. Well, I decided to try out a fan controller, and I got the Nexus. Not only are the fans quieter, but now I'm freakin' happy! :p And my system never overheats even when the fans are on the lowest setting...well, I always turn them on full blast when playing games though, as I don't want to boil my system, but I can't hear them over the sound anyways, so it's all good. :)

Well those are all nice and shiny but I use lot Zalman Fanemate and fanmate 2. They are cheep and can be build and hidden away and still doo for little money good job.
I also make My own rheostats and rheobuses.

on that does it have the option to turn the fans off
unfortunately no, but you can set the speed extremely low. It also doesn't have the ability to turn the illumination of the screen off which is important to some people.

Sunbeam is the best out there for sure..

The one i bought a wile back (over a year i think) Was 18watt per channel, so it could handle 2 good fans on each 1. The rest of them out there anrt nearly =. But with the extra cheap price of the sunbeam controller I dont know how any of the others even sell...

I had to add a resistor to the LED on my sunbeam because there very bright bright.
