So I'm using a Bitfenix Recon fan controller, and I'm using three of the channels:
Channel 1: CPU fans
2x Corsair SP120 High Performance fans
Channel 2: Intake fans
2x Corsair AF140 Quiet fans
1 Stock Fractal Design 140mm fan
Channel 3: Exhaust fans
3x Corsair AF140 Quiet fans
When I first put this all together, smoke came out of the Bitfenix controller and nothing was working. Thought it was because the power connector was partially disconnected because when I reconnected it, it started running and has been running okay ever since. However now it doesn't even read the Channel 1 fans (they just run max speed all the time), and all the channels have always fluctuated a lot with rpms.
Is there too many fans on each channel? I thought that this controller could handle it but maybe not.. Anyways, it's given me problems ever since I've installed it and I'm thinking of just getting a knob controller. Does anyone have suggestions for a fan controller that can deliver enough power for my fan setup? Something that has a good reputation and reliable, because this was a pain to put together with all the cabling...

Also my case has a door (Fractal Design R4), does anyone know if you can't use controllers with knobs because of this?
