F@H "sleep" issue

Anyone else having a prob with F2H going to "sleep" wile folding? I have not had this problem up until about 1 month ago. Now, only on my main PC (3 others are fine) it just decides to sleep. I've read up on some of the fixes, uninstalled (cleared all data and such) reinstalled...still happening. So far, the only way I can keep it from sleeping....set my power options to monitor never shuts off. I don't like the idea of running a screen saver, so I just manually power off my 24s. So far, seems to work. Anyone else got any thoughts on this issue or am I in a small group of users with problems? BTW..happens with the older 6.41 client and the v7 client.

There's an intermittent bug lately that causes the folding client to fail when your system has monitor shutdown enabled. I've experienced it on my home folding system. If you disable monitor shutdown it fixes it (did for me and others).

I turn my display off when I know I'm not going to be around anyhow so this wasn't a great hardship.

This is GPU folding correct?
Are you using a different driver on the "sleeping" GPU vs. the others?
I had the same issue when I updated drivers a couple of months ago and was only able to stop it by changing the PCs power saving options. I "believe" I still have my monitor under power saving control but I believe the items I had to take off power control were the HDD and CPU (obviously).
I'll try and verify that this evening.

What OS are you using?

If you are using windows, I have had this problem before. Windows will change the power settings automatically after applying some updates. It shouldn't change these settings but I had it on two computers.

Best of luck.

Well, this might be why my 580 doesn't want to finish a WU.
