Eyfinity 5770 crossfire

is it possible to use two 5770is in crossfire but use 3 monitors all dvi for eyfinity without an adapter

One monitors has to be hooked up to the display port on the video card. You can get a adapter to convert DP to whatever you need. Usually runs $100?

Nope, has to be all on one card. I recommend getting a monitor with native Display port connectors.

As I recommend to everyone looking to get 22" monitors for Eyefinity,

Dell P2210's - $180 with shipping and tax. I bought my two from there, and they have been working great without any defects or problems.

$100??? Monoprice has them for $20 or less.

I been wanting to upgrade to the 5770 and use it to power 3 moniotrs, but I don't want Eyefinity. I have read that the HDMI connector is wired with the DVI so you cant use both DVI connectors and the HDMI, so that leaves the Display port if you want to use 3 displays with the Display port.

Another thing you might want to consider is that there is a 5x miniDP port 5770 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131358&cm_re=5770-_-14-131-358-_-Product and it comes with several adapters however it costs a little more but it might be worth it.
