Eyefinity Crossfire 5770

I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to actually put these cards through their paces in an eyefinity + crossfire setup. If so, how well do they scale in the white-listed games?

Also, regarding the setup, would it now be possible to connect three DVI screens in this configuration and group them for eyefinity using the 9.12 hotfix:

Card 1 -> DVI + DVI
Card 2 -> DVI

or would all the cards require a connection to the primary card (card 1) i.e. TWO DVI/HDMI and ONE via an active DisplayPort adapter. Just curious if anyone has had a chance to actually test out such a configuration yet.

I believe to run eyefinity with the 5770 you must connect all monitors to a single card.
