Okay I have x-fire 6970s.

I am going to crossfire and am in my LCD research phase right now. Thinking of getting 3x Asus VW266H 16:10 LCDs. Still looking though.

I would like to know if I could use the following for eyefinity:

As we know the card has 2x DVI 1x HDMI and 2x Mini-DP

1x HDMI - LCD1
1x DVI - LCD2
1x DVI -LCD 3

Or do I HAVE to use DP since hdmi and DVI might share the same bus?

Also would you recommend the Dell U2311H - IPS panel over the Asus?

Thanks

you need to have DP in there at one point, the 2 DVI's and 1 HDMI share 2 "lanes/bus whatever you call it", so only two will work at once

you need one, and as said above. but Asus http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-VE278Q-27-Inch-LED-Monitor/dp/B0043T34RK readily makes one

as for the IPS panel I would NOT in this case. for me they are too slow for good gaming and it negates the befits of using them. Now if the setup is only for gaming as a secondary function then I would look into it. but for games I would rather have 27" screens with fast response times then viewing angle and color control as you will not notice when the enemy is shooting at you JM2C

(remember to link threw H commissions;))

That Asus appears to be a nice screen for the price. I am just torn between having 16:9 my whole ife and now wanting to go 16:10. Gaming is 50/50 but I also use my system to run my own business on as well such as web work, email, documentation, the list goes on. I game after my work is done though!
