Extra wire for fans inside computer

I want to buy computer wire to splice into my fans to make them longer. What specificly do I need and where can i get it? I know places like frozencpu.com have it but they want 7$ shipping for the tiny thing... ehh
 
wire is pretty much wire. There are different sizes, and different materials, but other than that, just plain ole wire doesn't vary much. Just head down to a local electronics store and get some.
 
Speaker wire....small gauge....The 2 wires are together which makes less clutter inside the case.
 
Walk up the the guy at the counter in your local hardware store and say: "Hello, I'd like to buy some 18 guage wire, please."
 
Home Depot has and section w/ a huge array of spools of wire to chose from, just ask the guy there. Stuff's dirt cheap too, probably won't end up costing you more then $1 for more wire then you need.
