What is the largest and fastest external hd i can intall onto a P3 Dell that is running xp ?
What type of interface am i going to need ?

A single harddrive? Probably a 500 gig drive in a usb 2.0 enclosure.
 
yes i would like to add a second hard drive... what is this enclosure you speak of ? where can i purchase one ?
