External DVD drive?

Not really interested in an internal one anymore, so looking at externals. Which ones are any good for the price? Not really interested in spending over $30-40 to be honest. I just need something that can read disks semi-quickly, burning/blu-ray isn't necessary.

Also, I can still install windows without having issues with the usb not being detected right?
