greetings from the mothership, probably not in the correct forum or something but i will use the word case several times.

the good postman will soon be at me door with a goodie package containing a new-egg refurb'd special thunder k8w, this is an e-atx size board, my question is i need a case but would rathr it be a mid tower, so far i haven't been able to find any mid-tower cases that support extended atx, only thermaltake but i rather a simplistic looking case, like a lian li pc*

i figure you kids have seen all sorts and would probably be able to recommend something.

Now the modding part, i have a lian li pc60, can this in anyway be made to fit a extended atx board?

thanks gents

Usage of the word case = 3 times.

That's more like a few. Several should be 4+. Try harder next time :D

Just what height do you want to keep this case under? I know you can find more eATX cases, but it kinda depends on whether you have a specific height you are looking for.

like to keep it mid-tower height, what is that like 17 or so inches

i'll try drudging about

To my knowledge, all of Silverstone's tower cases are e-ATX compatbile. They make some really nice, clean-looking cases too.

Yeah, I was thinking of a Silverstone, but I wasn't sure about the height of some of their cases.

I just looked and the Silverstone cases that are e-ATX compatible are about 20" high. I guess the search continues.

all the cases i find that are eatx are 20 inches high...my case fits eatx but its 20 inches.. maybe its some sort of spec
